Yea you swagged out and you drippin with confidence
But has your confidence turned into straight cockiness? (Has it?)
Boastin in self? man the Word calls it godlessness
Instead let’s spread His name throughout the metropolis
Let’s be cognizant of His dominance
Christ reigns over the earth with prominence
Yes his awesomeness is so obvious
Let’s acknowledge it, trust in His promises
I guess I’m feelin it’s a reason to vent (How come?)
Cause God should get the glory if you’re reading the text
No longer will I warm-up a seat on the bench
I gotta speak up on the sequence of events
We gotta draw a line, we can’t be on the fence
Cause cats are two-faced, I’m not speakin of Dent (Harvey)
Yea some of you Jokers really need to repent
But is your heart hardened like a piece of cement?

It’s quite clear that the focus has shifted
You changed your approach and I notice the difference
Why when the issue is social you’re livid?
But when it comes to the gospel you are timid??
I do not hear about hope and conviction
You’re dope and you you’re Christian, I know that you’re gifted
But lemme ask you who gave you the gift?
Do you ever really give Him any praise when you spit?
I have to admit Christian rap has failed socially
And issues should be talked about more vocally
We live in a time and an age of injustice
How do I find the lines to say I’m disgusted?
Let’s discuss this, if you care to listen
So sick of the headlines “There’s a killing”
So where’s the villain? It’s the Darren Wilson’s
And George Zimmerman’s, killin parent’s children
Cops shooting again due to tone of their skin
So broken within, this the grossest of sins
It’s no mystery, so many know misery
So we should have compassion and always show sympathy
Christ came for the broken and marginalized
So let our hearts be loving and be starved of our pride
Meanwhile, media’s teaching obvious lies
Let’s fight for unity not make walls that divide

Jesus Christ, the God man is our model
Don’t deny Him and abandon the gospel
We should fight for change, with a righteous rage
But we’re more concerned with who likes our page
We’re in a time and age where pride is praised
Let’s refine our ways in these final days
I’ll admit as I rap in my stanzas
I do not have all the practical answers
Don’t get it twisted on what I’m enforcing
Undoubtedly justice IS important
I’m not quite sure on how you’ll receive this
I’m just sayin that a balance is needed
We can have all the freedom and justice on earth
But then when we die and our crushed under dirt
What awaits us is something much worse
Without faith in Christ face His judgment and curse
So let’s push for freedom and justice on earth
And include the cross as something of worth
I know that it hurts whenever you’re sinned against
Jesus Christ the true picture of innocence
Never sinned once yet disowned by His people
And yet it should be noted He spoke against evil
But died for His enemies their lies and their treachery
Cast your cares on Him cause Christ is the remedy!
